Aluminium 5754 Bars (UNS A95754 / DIN 3.3535) consist of aluminium (89.5–90.5%), magnesium (2.5–3.5%), manganese (0.4–0.8%), iron (0.4%), silicon (0.25%), zinc (0.25%), and copper (0.1%). This chemical make-up offers superior resistance to seawater and chemically corrosive atmospheres, as well as high strength and weldability. Mechanical properties are tensile strength 220–290 MPa, yield strength 160 MPa, elongation 15–25%, and Brinell hardness 60–70 HB based on temper. All these properties make Aluminium 5754 Bars strong and reliable for uses that need strength, light construction, and corrosion resistance for a long period of time.
