Aluminium 6061 Bars (UNS A96061 / DIN 3.3211) consist of aluminium as the base with alloying components such as silicon (0.40–0.80%), magnesium (0.80–1.20%), copper (0.15–0.40%), chromium (0.04–0.35%), manganese (0.15%), iron (0.70%), zinc (0.25%), and titanium (0.15%). These bars have superior strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability. Their mechanical properties are tensile strength of 290 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, elongation of 10–12%, Brinell hardness of 95 HB, and density of 2.70 g/cm³.
